Jill Grunenwald - @jill_Grun
Jill Grunenwald is the blogger behind The Year of the Phoenix where she challenges her readers to be their own hero. Her own healthy living journey has had its ups and downs, which she has always been transparent about and shares in her uniquely authentic and sometimes sarcastic voice.
A 3x half-marathoner, Jill proudly represents the back of the pack at every race she runs. In the summer of 2015 she started a podcast dedicated to her fellow slow runners. After turning to Kickstarter to help with the financial costs, she not only hit her goal within the first 24 hours, by the end of the campaign she had nearly doubled it. Her Running With Police Escort podcast launched June 12, 2015 and two weeks later at FitBloggin ‘15 she gave an Ignite presentation about being a slow runner, which can be viewed here.
She has her MLIS from the University of Kentucky and currently works as a staff librarian at a digital content distributor based in Ohio. She is a fiercely loyal and proud resident of Cleveland. Her three favorite words are All Day Breakfast.
Steve Carmichael - @RunBuzz
Steve Carmichael is founder of the RunBuzz running community, host of the RunBuzz podcast and is a USATF/RRCA certified running coach. He coaches runners locally through his running club as well as all over the world in distances from the 5k to the ultra marathon.
In 2007, after a mild health scare due to years of poor exercise and eating habits, Steve went out for a short run as part of re-establishing a healthy lifestyle. For nearly six months, he despised every single step he took. Whether it was pure willpower or just obsessive stubbornness, he eventually learned to love running and the entire running community which he serves. What started out as a single uncomfortable step has led to a healthier lifestyle and the creation of RunBuzz, which is geared toward helping adults with training, accountability, and becoming masters of their own fitness journey.
In addition to training runners with the physical aspects of running, he specializes in working with adults who struggle with low motivation, poor exercise habits, poor time management, lack of willpower, fear, self confidence, procrastination issues, and other mental mind games that become a barrier to those wanting to achieve their fitness potential.

Rocky Walls - @RockyWalls
Rocky Walls has one simple belief at the intersection of his personal and professional life: people need connections and the best ones come from communication that’s real and simple.
Rocky frequently speaks and advises on the subject of video strategy, drawing upon his experience overseeing the production of thousands of videos through his company, 12 Stars Media, and their video production platform, Candidio.
A communicator to the core, all work and no play wouldn’t really bother Rocky, but he has his fun too: he loves to hang out with his wife and two boys, and together they’re Disney fanatics who visit Disney Parks annually. He’s an amateur chef (though he won’t tell us if he wears an apron), and believes whatever you can get out of a box or in a restaurant, you can make at home if you try, by golly. And like any real professional in the video biz, he’s an avid fan of watching movies.
