Indy is packed full of exciting ways to keep active while relishing in new experiences. Boasting an award-winning urban bike trail and breathtaking parks, Indianapolis offers endless opportunities to keep you moving as you explore and embrace the city.

First and foremost, you can rent a bike to get from place to place all day long. The Pacers Bikeshare program allows you to pedal along the eight-mile Indy Cultural Trail stopping at any of the 25 stations scattered across the city. At only $8 for a 24-hour pass, the trail takes you through Indy’s cultural districts to experience local art, restaurants, shopping, and more.

The Central Canal at White River State Park, one of the largest urban state parks in the U.S., is a gorgeous scene — one of my favorite places to be downtown. Visitors and residents love to spend the day on the water kayaking and paddle boating through the heart of the city. The 250-acre park is also the perfect place for an afternoon run, and offers plenty of entertainment options from the exceptional Indianapolis Zoo and IMAX theatre, to the Eiteljorg and Indiana State Museums

We can’t forget about Active Indy Tours – the best way to get a workout while discovering the history and splendor of the Circle City. Guests can select from running, walking, or biking tours, which operate at a reasonable pace and stop often for everyone to catch their breath and learn even more about the past, present, and future of Indianapolis.

There are a number of other trails stretching throughout the city for avid runners and bikers, or those just looking to take a nice stroll. Each passes through a different portion of the city offering new scenery and must-see stops.

With these options and many more, Indianapolis makes it easy to see the sights and stay active on vacation.

Do work and #LoveIndy.

Don’t count Indy out! It’s a SUPER cool town. We spent some time there on our #HappySummr trip last year and I’m super excited to get back there.
