You’ve been patient so we aren’t going to play around here… We are excited to announce the 2016 FitBloggin’ date and location: July 21-24, 2016 in Indianapolis! [Tweet This]
We chose Indianapolis for a number of reasons:
- Visit Indy was very supportive of bringing FitBloggin’ to the city, which will help us provide you with lots of local fitness activities. The city was named the #1 convention city in the U.S. by USAToday.
- Our host hotel, the downtown Indianapolis Marriott, has been very flexible in providing us a perfect conference space – the entire first floor of their conference area.
- Indianapolis has an excellent airport (code IND) with good connections. The airport was named the #1 airport in North America by the Airport Council International.
We have clearly heard cost is an issue in your ability to attend FitBloggin’, and we’ve worked to make this an affordable destination for you next summer. Indianapolis is centrally located to the bulk of our attendees and within one flight of almost everyone in the US. We secured a $169 hotel rate – a good rate for summer – and airport transport to the hotel is only $10.

We have a lot of ideas in the works to make 2016 a great event, including a broadening of the scope from blogging alone to social media and digital communication, content tracks designed to better meet your learning goals, and pre-conference excursions that will help you experience Indy. Included on the New York Times’ list of 52 Places to Go in 2014, you won’t be short on exciting experiences, great food, and fun culture in this thriving Midwest city.
There will be a Call for Content and Speakers this fall, so make sure you’re subscribed to our emails and following our social channels.
We appreciate Roni’s trust in giving us a role in managing FitBloggin’ and look forward to seeing each of you in 2016 in Indianapolis!

I am an Indy resident so I’d love to attend/volunteer…whatever!

We’d love for you to sign-up and join us in Indy, Cassandra! Registration is open now. We’re still in early planning stages, so not certain what the need for volunteers will be quite yet.
