With the venue finally set, it’s time to hit the ground running!
Speaker applications are now open and will remain open until November 15, 2013, at midnight ET. This year we are doing things a little differently. Instead of tracks based on the type of presentation (discussion, workshop, etc) we are creating 3 content-based tracks:
- Business of Blogging
- Tech Talks
- Wellness Chats
There will be a designated room for each track and all will have AV equipment available, although it is not a requirement to use it.
We are looking for presentation with clearly defined objectives and specific takeaways for attendees. Please do not submit a one-sentence general concept. If you want us to seriously consider your application, take the time to articulate how your idea benefits the conference and why you are the perfect person to present it.
The fourth category (Small Group Discussions) is a continuation of our morning discussion from last year. These slots are reserved for bloggers who want a room of their own to discuss a niche topic in the realm of health, wellness, fitness, blogging or tech. There will be no AV in these rooms.
Please take a look at the current schedule. It is subject to change but a good example of how the conference will be structured.
A few things to note before you apply:
- This is NOT the application for the Ignite Fitness keynote presentation; we will have a separate application for those in coming weeks.
- Applications will be accepted until November 15, and we will reach out to speakers in early December. Unfortunately, due to the number of applications we expect to receive, we will not be able to reply to everyone. Our apologies.
- Speakers receive a full-access pass to the conference. Other expenses (including travel and hotel) are the responsibility of the speaker. Please do not apply if you are unable to attend for financial reasons.
