Live Blog: JumpSport Bounce Class

Ready to Jump!!

I was super lucky to participate in the JumpSport Fitness Trampoline BOUNCECamp on Saturday morning.

One cannot step onto a bouncy surface and not giggle just a little bit!! It certainly makes me feel a bit like Tigger!

The INFO:  JumpSport Fitness Trampoline calls itself the NEW generation of tramplines and offers an intense and FUN workout. The BOUNCE class was taught by Jeff Mullen, one of JumpSport Fitness Trampoline’s awesome trainers and was advertised as “a new workout that offers a lower-impact option to traditional exercise, yet promises the same powerful potential in results. Improve cardiovascular endurance, tone and sculpt your body, improve your immune system, burn calories and, most of all, have fun exercising at every fitness level!”

The CLASS:

62 small black circles dotted the LARGE, brightly lit conference room.

108 (approximately) eager & ready-to-sweat fitbloggin bloggers.

3 ladies clad in bright blue shirts, ready to assist.

1 VERY energetic fitness instructor

We doubled up where needed and set to start class. Jeff informed us that class would be tabata style – one partner would be up on trampoline and one doing a floor exercise.  The most basic definition of tabata is high intesity intervals and Jeff delivered! For 50 minutes we bounced and squatted (often at the same time), sprinted and squatted, and planked.

The class was INTENSE. After 10 minutes, I think everyone in the room was sweating.  Our instructor, Jeff, became more energetic as the class progressed. He was having so much fun teaching the class that there was no way not to enjoy. It helps when you are bouncing your way through a fitness class.

One more thing, this class was insanely fun and hard but so much fun you almost forgot you were working so hard!! JumpSport Fitness Trampoline lives up to their advertising.

Holler if you took this class (or one similar) and felt like Tigger!!
