All FitBloggin’ 5k Run/1 Mile Walk Details!


Join Reebok and finish FitBloggin’ 12 in style with the 5K run or 1-mile walk on Sunday!

The 5k is a loop starting from the Inner Harbor and touring the Federal Hill area of Baltimore. This is a fun run. There are no chip timers or mile markers. A printed map of the route will be available the morning of the event. Feel free to walk the run route or even run the walk! There is no pressure to complete in a certain amount of time or run at a certain pace. Have FUN with it!

There will also be a 1-mile walk option for those who would rather explore the Inner Harbor area. The route will also be included on the print-out

Reebok will be leading the 5K with one of their top running athletes. You will have a chance to hear from the best, and run alongside, Katie McGregor. With an impressive college career at the University of Michigan as a three-time NCAA titleholder and nine-time All-American, Katie won her first national title as a pro in the summer of 2005, when she regained the lead on the last turn of the 10,000m to sprint to victory at the USA Outdoor Championships. Katie is a prolific racer, indoors and outdoors, on the roads and cross country with experience across all distances. She most recently ran her fastest half marathon in 2011 with a time of 1:11:45. It will be great motivation to listen to Katie talk about how she trains and gain helpful tips for your next run. Every runner and walker will receive a free Reebok gift for participating.

Join us Sunday morning in Constellation AB at 7AM where we will kick off the event. We’ll then walk across to the Inner Harbor to start the run/walk.

Be sure to meet back in Constellation AB for goodbyes and breakfast afterwards!
