Got Chocolate Milk?

Got Chocolate Milk?

We’re excited to announce the Official REFUEL Beverage of FitBloggin’12 – Lowfat Chocolate Milk – and the REFUEL | “got chocolate milk?” campaign as our latest sponsor!

Lowfat chocolate milk has what it takes to help you recover after a tough workout. It’s a natural for post-exercise recovery and offers several advantages over other commercial recovery drinks. The nutrient profile of chocolate milk is what makes it effective as a post-exercise recovery beverage. It is a natural source of high-quality protein to build lean muscle; it has the right mix of protein and carbs, scientifically shown to refuel and rebuild exhausted muscles; it is a natural source of electrolytes to rehydrate and help replenish critical nutrients lost in sweat. Plus, it tastes great.

The REFUEL campaign is dedicated to reaching active adults who are serious about their sports to educate them about the importance of recovering effectively, and supporting them throughout their training through the Team REFUEL program.

This is funny/sad. I commend the marketers and spinsters in the dairy industry that have got people/media believing the hype.

You left two comments using different names. Shame on you. If you have such strong feelings about this, again, come, share and contribute to the conversation instead of hiding behind pseudonyms and posting random comments.

I'm super excited for this session! I know everyone has opinions about this that and the other…no one is perfect though and personally I love refueling with chocolate milk. I have to make my own since I can only drink whole milk, but for me it sits better than most sports drinks. Personally I think when I run 3-5 hours I've earned a "treat" and that is what chocolate milk is FOR ME a treat with an added bonus. I applied for the team back in 2011 but didn't have enough votes, it'd be awesome for a second chance!
