Are you afraid that self-acceptance means you’ll never lose weight? Does self-acceptance mean giving up?
So many of us want to feel good in our skin AND want to lose a few pounds. Are these two things incompatible and mutually exclusive? Or is it possible for them to exist side by side? For both things to be true?
Self-acceptance is a hot topic. At best, it just means different things to different people; at worst, it’s completely misunderstood. In this discussion, Karen, Mara, Christie and Shauna will introduce the concept of self-acceptance and facilitate a meaningful discussion about the relationship between self-acceptance, body image, health at every size, and weight loss. The goal will be for each person who participates to walk away from the discussion with a personal definition of what self-acceptance means and how to apply it in their own lives.

Excited about this session! Self acceptance is hard.
I loved the "Intuitive Eating" session that Karen, Christie and Shauna did last year, so I"m sure this will be fabulous! What a great addition with Mara!! You'll definitely see me there 🙂
Today more than ever, I am reminded about self-acceptance and self-nurturance. I definitely need to grow in this area and I'm really looking forward to this session!
I can think of a lot of people who could use this including me. However, you're a little too far away. i hope people near you take dvantage of this!
I am so excited to be live blogging this session. As someone who struggled with this very topic, I know it will be an interesting discussion.
