Fitbloggers!  Can you believe the year is almost over?!  It’s kind of stressful (only a handful of days left before Christmas!) but kind of exciting….cause there’s only a handful of months before Fitbloggin!  Do you have your ticket?  (Please say yes, cause I really want to see you there!)

So how is this holiday stress treating you?  Are you gaining, losing, maintaining?  Are you fitting in time for workouts?  Are you eating tons of yummy holiday treats?  Tell us!

For myself, I had been in a bit of a funk…but I’m happy to report here, that I think I’m coming out the other side!  I sucked it up, put on my big-girl pants, and headed back to weight watchers meetings.  It was a hard decision (I’ve had ups and downs with the program) but the new plan drew me in.  And it’s working, so I’m a happy camper.

That being said, I’m still not feeling the workout portion of my healthy living.  Okay, honestly, I only drag my butt out to yoga because I get to do shavasana at the end of the 90 minutes.  But, at least it’s something.

What’s funny, is that while I’m doing okay with food, but struggling with exercise, Jen is the opposite…

On one hand I am sorta happy that I am not alone, but really it just sucks that we are in this place. I hope none of you out in blogland are struggling with the funk but if you are, I hope you can take some comfort in knowing you are not alone! 

Mandy is doing awesome with getting out of her funk. I am still battling my way out but I am on my way out of it! Lucky for me, I have Mandy to kick me in the butt when I need it…and all of you! I am supposed to be blogging here about, ya know, getting fit for fitbloggin….and life. I have slacked and I have allowed myself to be lazy and I have no idea why but I refuse to come back here one more time and tell you I am in a funk. 

Now, I am not saying I am doing it for you. I am doing this for me. But you certainly can kick my butt if it’s needed.

To be honest, it is high time I gave myself a stern talking to. It’s ok, I deserve it!! All that is left is for me to just shut up and get fit!

We are all working out the kinks funk and finishing this year stronger.  In 6 months we will be seeing each other in Baltimore and we WILL be fitter! Speaking about Baltimore…did you see we are giving away Free Hugs?!?!

    Yep in a funk here too! I'm taking 3 weeks off from high impact exercises (no running) in the hopes my plantar fasciitis goes away. I'll break into running again in the New Year, slow and steady!

    I was in such a great workout routine until I hurt my neck before Thanksgiving. Trying to get back into that routine now that I am better!

    I'm too busy to be in a funk! Well, not really … my workouts have definitely suffered, but after a tough race schedule this year I'm actually welcoming the break. Even if I do feel like a slug.

    I'm definitely looking forward to a calmer schedule when I can get back to my routine!

    Would love to win something this holiday. Seems like so much is going out the pocket, it would be nice to get something in. PLus I need the $$ to register for exercise classes once I finish my half marathon in February. I need something to keep me motivated!!

    Was in a 2-3 week funk, but pretty sure it was due to a diet experiment followed by the stomach bug from hell… back in it now though, 100%

    I'm glad I'm not the only one in a funk. This is my busiest time of year at work so there is lots of stress and not lots of working out or time to eat. TO cheer myself up I bought new running shoes for an early Christmas present.

    On my 29th birthday last week I fell and sprained my ankle = big funk! I would love to win this package for when I am able to get up off my couch and exercise again:-)

    I'm trying to fight the funk, but sometimes it wins! After studying like a fiend all semester it feels good to just sit and do absolutely nothing. However, I did enough sitting while I was studying. It is time to move that booty!!

    That's what I'm blaming this week, anyway.

    I can't seem to get my exercise-ness together. But it will happen. Eventually. : )

    been funking too! I will start weight watchers for the first time ever, I’ve always liked working out so no problem there but since I moved to the US and adjusted to the culture I gained some weight. 🙁

    I've been in a marathon funk for a LONG time. I really want to run one, but injuries, babies, school, etc…everything gets in the way. Someday I will get over this funk!!

    Oh man I know about being in a funk!! Just this morning I said to myself, it's the holiday season so get with the program! In otherwords, Funk – 0 Christina – 1!

    I have completely fallen off the wagon. I think I've continued to reign in my eating as far as quantity goes, but not quality. There is usually a limited amount of "healtful" foods at holiday gatherings, but I'm limited my consumption. I went to the grocery story for the first time in 3 weeks today, and I am ready to start my day tomorrow with a green monster.

    I got accepted last month to run the Boston Marathon for AmericaSCORES! A charity which promotes/provides literary, soccer, and service learning programming to low-income, under served Boston public elementary and middle school students. I’m so excited! I can’t wait to run this spring!
