Many of you who have attended FitBloggin’ before know we always have a large printed agenda, plus printed routes, letters, and numerous signs at the event. Some of these things are valuable, of course, but over the years I’ve cringed at the amount of wasted paper I have personally thrown away post-conference. In an effort to reduce our overall dependence on printed products we are happy to offer you Bizzabo, our official mobile app for FitBloggin’13.
Thank you to everyone who applied to speak and for helping us make our final decisions. Today we announce the final list of speakers for the Ignite Fitness keynote event at Fitbloggin. We reserve the right to make changes regarding the speaker topics before the conference.

Thanks to all our generous sponsors, we are again able to make even more volunteer-style positions available this year!
We do things a little differently than some conferences. These aren’t traditional “volunteer” positions or your run-of-the-mill “scholarships.” FitBloggin’ will now be accepting applications for assistantships to help bloggers who are unable to attend the conference for financial reasons.
Here’s how it works: In exchange for a free ticket to FitBloggin’13, each assistant will cover one session as a LiveBlogger. Read the rest of Over 30 FitBloggin’13 Assistantships Available!»»

Who is excited for June in Portland? Between a quickly filling schedule with intriguing discussions, panels, and activities, we have a little housekeeping to do with our keynote featuring YOU!
It’s time to choose Ignite Fitness speakers. You will find all the submitted sparks and titles listed below. Your job is to gauge your interest for them. As a community we choose who gets to highlight their passions in 5 rapid minutes during a night of celebration. Voting is open now until Tuesday, April 9. We will announce the first seven speakers on April 10 based on the the vote. Additional organizer-picked speakers will be announced a week after that.
Have fun building the momentum with 101 days to go. Get your friends to vote, keep working those connections, make sure your roommate situation is getting set up, and join the Facebook group if you want to interact with the community more before we meet in the City of Roses.
The Ignite Fitness vote does not have names or blogs attached to avoid being a popularity contest. Fitbloggin’ is known as an open-armed, tight-knit group with a passion for fitness. Rest assured that everyone involved shares this passion and it will come out in the keynote just like it did for our inspiring event last year. Now get to voting! Vote for one, rank them all — it’s totally up to you! Read the rest of Ignite Fitness Keynote: Vote NOW!»»
Hello from the FitBloggin’ camp! We’ve been working hard an finalizing the agenda and securing sponsors for our very first West Coast event this June! It may seem far away at the moment, but we are very aware of our trusty little counter that just keeps ticking down.
The schedule has been and will continue to be updated, and we’ll be sharing more session details very shortly. We’ve also started a FitBloggin’ Facebook group for those who would like to organize meetups, find roommates or simply connect with FitBloggin’ attendees before the event. Click here to join and introduce yourself, but please remember to use the group responsibly. I reserve the right to boot you for shameless self promotion and over usage.
In other news, because of a printing error from the sock company, we have 2 styles to choose from. I’m collecting votes via social media and comments. Which would you like to sport in Portland this year? Stripe or no stripe? Read the rest of New Facebook Group and a Very Important Question!»»
