Meet and stay in touch with others who are interested in fitness, wellness, good food and a healthy lifestyle. We don’t have to do this alone or virtually! FitBloggin’ Local allows you to volunteer and run a mini-FitBloggin’ in your very own community!

Some ideas for your meetup… Organize a fun run at a local park, catch up at local cafe, go hiking, share blogging tips, hold an outdoor meeting, the possibilities are endless!

Conference Internet Access Information

To access the internet during the conference follow these instructions…

  1. With your computer turned ON, set your wireless adapter SSID to ibahn_conference.
  2. Launch a web browser.
  3. Type “ibahn” in the address bar and press Enter.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions and enter the above Conference Code (06048D) when prompted.

This year we were able to negotiate for free internet access in attendee rooms. If you made your reservations under the FitBloggin code wireless will be available automatically in your room. No code necessary.

Let me know if you have any questions.

UPDATE: You do NOT need to code for the room access. Connect to the Ibahn network without the code and accept the charges. Your account will be credited when you check out. Sorry for the confusion.

Join Paolo Sambrano and Susan Ito (“Foodie McBody”) as their fitness blogs come to life on the stage!

Paolo is not above lying to the clerk at Popeye’s, saying that the 24 piece chicken strip meal he’s buying is for his family when what he really intends is to construct chicken strip-biscuit-french fry-mashed potato sandwiches while watching Star Trek: The Next Generation in the dark. Between kettlebells, strippers with hearts of gold, and weighing food, I Get Wet is about being a fatass, not being a fatass, and being a fatass again.

Foodie McBody was an overweight, rice-loving couch potato when she got the wakeup call that threatened diabetes. Follow her roller coaster ride in “FoodFoodBodyBody”, from the doctor’s office to Weight Watchers and the world of Couch-to-5k and secret blogging. Can she have her cake and have her health too?

Susan and Palo will be performing Friday night at 8PM in Salon A and/or B, we are still working on some details!

Part of the “Design 101″ session will include a design critique of blogs written by participants brave enough to submit their sites for public review. As part of her session, web designer Jennette Fulda from Make My Blog Pretty will point out areas for improvement in your design and highlight the things you’re doing right.
